Our story

It started with a few phone calls

In 2004, Dr. Chuma Osuji founded African Ambassadors with the aim of providing healthcare services and aid to individuals living in extreme poverty. Initially, Dr. Osuji reached out to a few of his acquaintances, requesting them to contribute their time and any amount of money they could afford. The objective was to ascertain how many individuals they could assist with the funds raised.

Since 2004, more than 600 families have received free healthcare services, and thousands of people in the United States and Africa have been provided with food.

We've been building our African Ambassadors community ever since, with no better motivation than that.

What drives us

The Spirit of Goodness

We are committed to humanitarian medical support and social African cultural activities designed to promote and inspire the “Spirit of Goodness” that comes with love, respect, kindness, mercy and compassion.

That spirit runs through everything — among our members, associates and colleagues, and among the local and international communities we serve.
